Takumi Minamino is a Japanese professional footballer who currently plays for Liverpool F.C. in the English Premier League. He was born on September 16, 2000, in Nagano, Japan, and has been playing professionally since he was just 14 years old.

Minamino began his career at Yokohama FC before moving to Japan's top division club Sagan Tosu. In 2017, he made the move to Europe, joining Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin. However, after only one season with the club, he joined German giants Bayern Munich.

In January 2019, Minamino moved to the United States and signed for Major League Soccer (MLS) club Sporting Kansas City. Despite facing some struggles in his first season with the team, he quickly established himself as a key player and helped the team win the MLS Cup in 2020.

Since then, Minamino has continued to impress both domestically and internationally. In November 2020, he became the youngest ever Japanese player to score in the UEFA Champions League when he netted against Paris Saint-Germain. He also scored his first international goal for Japan in a friendly match against South Korea in February 2021.

Despite all this success, Minamino remains humble and dedicated to improving his game. His performances have earned him praise from fans and fellow players alike, and he continues to be a key player for both his clubs and country.
